Recharge Rest & Recovery is the dedicated recovery facility at YHAF gym in Clyde North, built around compression therapy: sequential compression boots used in a movie-theatre-style recovery room to work the legs after training. The same facility also houses four four-person infrared saunas, a 2-degree ice plunge, and hot-and-cold contrast spas alternating 38-degree and 14-degree water.
Access is included in YHAF's gym membership tiers, which start from $39 a week on a six-month term or $49 a week with no minimum term, alongside 24/7 gym access across YHAF's club locations. Casual visits can also be booked directly at the Clyde North facility.
Services & Modalities
An infrared sauna uses infrared heaters to warm your body directly, at lower air temperatures than a traditional sauna.
Ice baths and contrast therapy mean immersing the body in cold water, and sometimes alternating with heat, for short timed periods.
Compression therapy uses inflatable boots, sleeves or shorts that squeeze the limbs in a rhythmic pattern to support recovery.
