1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of recoverymap.com.au and any related pages we operate (the "site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you use the site applies. Material changes will be noted by updating the effective date above.

2. What RecoveryMap is

RecoveryMap is an online directory. We list venues in Australia that offer recovery and longevity services — red light therapy, wellness hyperbaric oxygen, float tanks, infrared sauna, cryotherapy, ice baths, compression, and similar modalities. You can search by service and location, view a venue profile, and click through to the venue's own website, phone, or map listing.

RecoveryMap is not a provider of any of these services. We do not own, operate, staff, or control any listed venue. We do not take bookings, process payments, or act as agent for any venue or user. Any arrangement you make with a venue is between you and that venue. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it.

3. No medical or professional advice

Information on the site is general in nature. It describes what a modality is and what people commonly use it for. It is not medical, health, or professional advice, and it is not a diagnosis, treatment, or recommendation for any person or condition.

We do not represent that any listed modality treats, cures, prevents, or alleviates any disease, illness, or condition. Before starting any modality, consult a qualified health practitioner, particularly if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication. You use any service you find through the site at your own risk and decision.

4. Listings and accuracy

Listings are compiled from venues directly and from third-party and publicly available sources. We work to keep them accurate, but we do not warrant that any listing — including pricing, session length, equipment, hours, contact details, or availability — is current, complete, or correct. Details change, and venues control their own operations.

The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Verify anything that matters to you, especially price, equipment, hygiene, and suitability, directly with the venue before you rely on it or attend.

5. Featured and verified listings

Some listings are marked Featured. Featured placement is paid: the venue has paid for greater prominence. We mark it so you can see it. A Featured listing is an advertisement for that venue, not a ranking of quality or an endorsement by us.

Some listing details are marked Verified. Verified means we checked that specific detail against a source at a point in time. It is not a guarantee that the detail remains current, and it is not an endorsement, certification, or recommendation of the venue, its equipment, or its operators.

6. Links to other sites

The site links out to venue websites and to third-party services such as maps and phone diallers. When you follow a link you leave RecoveryMap and enter a site or service we do not control. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or conduct.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the site to find and research venues for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not:

• copy, scrape, harvest, or systematically extract the listings or any part of the database, by any automated or manual means;
• republish, resell, or redistribute the directory or substantial parts of it;
• use the site to send spam, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or introduce malicious code;
• use the site in breach of any law, or to infringe anyone's rights.

The compiled directory, including the selection and arrangement of listings, is ours and is protected by law. Unauthorised extraction or reuse is a breach of these terms.

8. Intellectual property

The site, the RecoveryMap name and branding, the page designs, written content, and the compiled directory are owned by us or our licensors. You receive no rights in them except the limited right to use the site as set out here. Content supplied by a venue (such as its name, description, or photos) remains that venue's; we display it to operate the directory.

9. Venue listings, claims, and removal

We decide which venues to list and are under no obligation to list, keep listing, or rank any venue in any way. A venue may claim its listing or request a correction or removal by contacting us; we may verify the request before acting. We may add, amend, suspend, or remove any listing at any time, including to comply with the law or our advertising obligations.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. This section applies subject to those rights.

To the extent permitted by law: we exclude all warranties not expressly stated here; we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on any listing, or from any dealing with or service provided by a venue; and where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant part of the site or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

We are not liable for the acts, omissions, services, or safety of any venue. Your decision to contact, attend, or use any venue is yours alone.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify us against any loss, claim, or cost we incur arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

12. General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
